Q. What is the shopping process with RK Furniture?

1. Browse the website and select item(s).

2. If you require any additional information please contact us via your chosen method of contact.

3. After you are satisfied place your order via your chosen method of payment.

4. We will send you a receipt for your items. Please keep this safe as this is your proof of purchase and details your rights.

5. We will contact you with an approximate delivery date after conversing with our suppliers regarding when goods will be will be in our possession.

6. 1-2 prior to the goods being in our possession we will finalise a date convenient for you.

7. Our white glove service will expertly deliver the goods to you.

8. You will be asked to sign a form that will prove you are happy with your item, this will also detail your rights and a copy of this form will be emailed to your email account.

9. Enjoy our furniture in the comfort of your own home.

Q. Where do you deliver?

We operate on a two tier system with delivery;

All deliveries within Rugby are free, if you live outside of Rugby we will still deliver but we will still deliver to you but we will have to charge a delivery charge to cover the petrol cost. We will take down your postcode and calculate the exact cost of petrol required to cover the distance to your household, please rest assured that we will never make any extra profit on a delivery charge and you will find proof of this in the delivery quote reflected to you.

Q. Will you assemble my furniture?

For most items delivered, delivery and installation is included. On the item page we will specify whether an item is fully assembled or requires assembly. We will install your items into the room you require so that we give you the best possible service. Sorry we can’t assemble furniture ourselves (other than where stated that the goods are already assembled) as this will invalidate your rights under the Distance Selling Regulations Act.

Q. How long will it take for you to deliver?

The delivery times on our goods are different on every item. If you see an item that you like and consequently purchase / make an enquiry about then we will contact our suppliers and then contact you with a more concise delivery date.

Q. What happens on the day of delivery?

You will be contacted in advance by a member of our team, who will advise you of the day we are next delivering to you. Assuming your goods aren’t self assembly, we will position the furniture as directed by you and remove all packaging materials – unless you wish to keep them. Please make sure all access points are clear of obstacles. You should also ensure there is someone in your property to receive and sign for the furniture.

Q. What happens if I am out when you deliver?

As all deliveries need to be signed for, we will be unable to leave your furniture and it will be returned to the store. We will contact you to arrange a further delivery date. There will be an additional extra delivery charge.

Q. Can I nominate a day or time for delivery?

We endeavour to deliver your order as swiftly as possible, usually no later than 7 days after it becomes available. We would appreciate you accepting delivery on the same basis. When you order your furniture, we will give you an estimated delivery date. When your goods have been received at our store, we will contact you to confirm the day the delivery will be made to you.

Q. Can you store my furniture?

Sorry, no. By delivering goods promptly, as soon as we receive them, we can give you the best value for money by ensuring a quick turnaround on our goods.

Q. What if my furniture does not fit?

When ordering furniture it is important to check that it will fit into your house and your room. Please check all doors, stairways and the space it has to go into carefully. All sizes and dimensions are on the corresponding item page.

Q. How do I pay for my Goods?

We accept payment all major credit cards, Cash On Delivery or PayPal on our website or instore.

Q. What if things go wrong?

We have very high customer service standards at RK Furniture. In the very rare occasion you have any problems you can contact us and we will help you. If you require a refund then you have 7 working days under the Distance Selling Regulations Act from receipt of your furniture in which to advise us that you do not want to keep the goods. After we have acknowledged your request in writing along with receipt, we ask that you do the following to assist with uplift of the goods:

Ensure that the furniture will be returned in the condition in which it was received in its original packaging. We will not be able to offer any refund on goods if there are any signs of damage or misuse.

Please note we cannot accept the return of the following items:

i.    Mattresses and divan beds, or bedding unless un-opened and in their original packaging.

ii.   Any partially assembled flat pack furniture, unless the item is found to be faulty, as outlined before. We will work with the supplier with regards to the replacement of the faulty part which will enable you to assemble your furniture completely.

iii.  Any goods that are found to be the subject of misuse or have been intentionally damaged.

Once the goods are back at our warehouse and have been inspected, we will confirm the refund amount due and make the repayment within 7 / 14 working days excluding the cost of collection of the goods.
